Anchor Spirits

This artwork, themed around 'spirits,' captures the “spirits” of Youngstown, NY, and the personal loved ones of the Liquor Store’s owners. With a nod to its past as a British stronghold, America and Canada, the mural acknowledges all the history that went down here. In addition, the building used to be the original post office of Youngstown with nods to that as well. Reminiscent of the building's origins as the original post office, subtle nods to its heritage add depth to the narrative. This artwork serves as both a homage to the town's past and a tribute to cherished loved ones, blending geographical and personal history into a seamless visual journey.
