Buffalo Trinket Mural at 424 Pearl Street

This mural is my love letter to the city of Buffalo. It’s the first time I was able to paint something truly personal, yet still extremely relatable. The piece is built from collected ephemera and small local objects — the kinds of things that would normally get tossed, but instead were preserved and documented. Some objects are references to places that no longer exist. Together, they show a small window of time in Buffalo’s history, turning the mural into a bit of a time capsule.

In this AI-heavy world, the work was intentionally kept off the screen. Almost everything in the mural is a real object, living on a shelf in my apartment. It was hand-printed with my own two hands. Nothing was generated. Nothing was outsourced. Just carefully collected pieces of a city I love, preserved in paint.
