Glen Park Historical Postcard

On the other side of the Glen in Bloom mural in Glen Park, I painted a historical postcard of what used to be Glen Park: Glen Casino and Kiddieland. Painting this mural was an interesting challenge because everything had to be historically accurate. Working with the Glen Park Joint Board and local author of a biography of Harry Altman, I was able to piece together the history. The format I chose was a postcard, possibly one you might find in the time period. Although, not entirely realistic that they would put all their top performers on it at once, which is what you see here. In their heyday, so many popular entertainers came to perform.
